No todo es posible con una sola cirugía / Dramatic changes in a single surgery

Muchas veces se pretende lograr cambios espectaculares en una sola cirugía. No siempre es posible, dependen múltiples factores. No pretenda usted parecerse a alguien que usted admira o una artista de la televisión, piense que esas son personas que viven para su imagen e invierten en ella, que es lo que venden, usted ha invertido en su familia, y si ha tomado la decisión de cambiar su vida, comenzará a invertir en su cuerpo. No pretenda ver esos cambios en un sólo procedimiento quirúrgico si usted tiene muchas áreas por tratar, como por ejemplo, brazos, espalda, abdomen, muslos, senos; usted comprenderá que no todo se puede hacer al mismo tiempo. Primero está su vida, su salud, su seguridad y mi tranquilidad de saber que estoy haciendo lo correcto.

Implantes de Glúteos / Glutes Silicone Implants

En pacientes donde la grasa no es suficiente para una lipotransferencia, la conducta a seguir es aumentar los glúteos por medio de implantes de silicón sub musculares (debajo del músculo), con la finalidad de darle una mayor proyección y redondez a esta zona. En algunos pacientes completo la técnica con grasa subcutánea en los cuadrantes inferiores. Los resultados son excelentes. Aquí les comparto un caso de reciente evolución a las dos semanas de post-operatorio.

Lactancia luego de Aumento de Senos / Breastfeed after a Breast Augmentation

La cirugía de los senos tanto de aumento, levantamiento o reducción antes de embarazarte, no impide que luego del embarazo puedas lactar. En cualquiera de los tres casos es posible la lactancia sin riesgo a la madre ni al bebé. Es posible que el seno caiga un poco si lacta, pero nunca al nivel anterior. Cuando se aumenta unos senos muy pequeños y luego se embaraza, si usted decide lactar es difícil que este seno "se caiga", porque se trata de un seno pequeño. Estos casos de caída (ptosis) se reservan a senos más grandes, o si se ha elegido en el caso de aumento mamario, la colocación sub-glandular.

"Breast surgery such as increase, lifting or reduction before getting pregnant, does not mean that you cannot breastfeed after pregnancy. In any of the three cases, lactating is possible without any risk to the mother nor the baby. The breasts may fall a little if you lactate, but never to the previous level. When very small breasts are increased and then you become pregnant, if you choose to breastfeed, it is difficult for them to fall, because it is a small breast. These cases of fall (ptosis) are reserved for bigger breasts, or if you have chosen in the case of breast augmentation, the sub-glandular placement."

Colocación de Implantes en Areolas pequeñas / Implants in small areolas

Cuando se van a aumentar los senos con implantes de silicón y las areolas son muy pequeñas, el mejor abordaje es por el surco mamario inferior o por la axila. El abordaje por el surco mamario es más recomendable en estos casos por ser más anatómico y menos agresivo.

"When you are getting breast augmentation with silicone implants and the areolas are very small, the best approach is in the lower breast groove or the armpit. The approach by the mammary groove is recommended in these cases because they are more anatomical and less aggressive."

Lipoinyección Glútea / Lipoinjection on the buttock

Los pacientes post-bariátricos que han perdido mucha masa muscular, los que han bajado considerablemente de peso y también han perdido masa muscular o aquellas donde su cuerpo ha sufrido grandes cambios debido al embarazo, pueden beneficiarse también de la lipoinyección en la región glútea. Esta le aporta el volúmen perdido y las células madres que están contenidas en la grasa. Si usted se encuentra en este grupo de personas, anímese a cambiar.

Duración de la grasa inyectada en los glúteos / Timespan of the fat injected into the buttocks

Muchas pacientes cuestionan la duración de la grasa inyectada en los glúteos. Les diré que cuando la grasa se prepara bien y se inyecta en el lugar adecuado tiene una duración de años, aún después de bajar de peso.
La grasa es avascular, es decir, no tiene circulación propia y necesita un lugar que le provea la suficiente circulación para crear la red que la va a mantener viable y perdurable. Esa es la clave de una buena y adecuada técnica. La experiencia en la colocación de la misma es fundamental. Diríamos que la grasa es casi permanente mientras existan las condiciones adecuadas; y lo mejor de todo, podemos colocar o inyectar grandes volúmenes que nos garantizan una mejor forma y glúteos más redondos sin el peligro de utilizar sustancias prohibidas e ilegales como los biopolímeros. Además, hacemos una técnica doble, ya que se realiza una lipoescultura y esa es la grasa que utilizamos para aumentar los glúteos.
Presentar fotos de mujeres modelos son muy lindas, pero no es lo que abunda, las que más se operan son las que necesitan éstos resultados, aquí se los comparto.

Fiebre tras Lipotransferencia Glútea / Fever after a Lipotransfer

Luego de una cirugía de aumento de glúteos con grasa autóloga, en las primeras 48 ó 72 horas puede haber picos febriles (fiebre) y es completamente normal, no es signo de infección. Esto se contrarresta con paracetamol vía oral y medios físicos (paños fríos en la zona glútea y en el cuerpo) además de continuar con tratamiento antibiótico. Si aparece la fiebre después de una semana, debe ser controlada por su médico para evitar infección.

"After a butt augmentation surgery with autologous fat, on the first 48 or 72 hours there can be spiking fevers (fever) and it is completely normal, it is not a sign of infection. This is countered by oral paracetamol and physical means (cold cloths on the buttocks and on the body) as well as continuing with antibiotic treatment. If fevers appears after a week, it must be controlled by your doctor to avoid an infection."
